New Research Programs Now Live
We’ve officially launched the Programs section of the MINDS website, where you can explore the innovative initiatives shaping the future of insight science:

Mind FLUX: Decoding Creative Breakthroughs
Our flagship study with the University of Texas at Austin investigates how the hippocampus drives or inhibits memory formation during insight—offering a potential mechanism for spontaneous breakthroughs in thinking.

Mapping the Landscape of Transformational Tools
This initiative explores ancient wisdom, altered states, and neurotechnology to create a comprehensive map of practices that unlock creativity, insight, and leadership.

Led by Scientific Director Dr. Manesh Girn, we’re developing a landmark white paper to unify the science of creativity, psychedelics, and altered states. This foundational text will guide a forthcoming Special Issue of a peer-reviewed journal, advancing a formal scientific agenda for the field.
Each of these programs reflects our commitment to rigorous, interdisciplinary research rooted in bold curiosity.
